After School Policies

Our S.T.E.A.M. Powered After School Program runs Monday-Friday and offers exciting activities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts and Mathematics with a bonus of outside recreation and exploration.

Our Academic Programs offer supplementary classes in the areas of Reading + Writing and Math Abacus. We are excited to be partnering with The Music Collection to offer additional classes such as Piano Keyboarding, Ukulele. and Violin for children Kindergarten – Grade 6.

Both our Academic and Music classes are offered as separate classes and can be added to your child’s After-School program.

All programs are facilitated by dedicated educators and specialists who bring together their wealth of experiences to provide the most outstanding educational opportunities to enrich and empower the lives of children.

Hours of Operation

Our afternoon programs run Monday to Friday from 2:45 – 5:15.

Please note: A late fee of $40 will be charged for late pick up.

Holidays and School Closures

The Early Achievers After School program runs from September to June and follows the NLESD public school calendar. We close for all statutory holidays, Easter and Christmas vacations.

If by chance Early Achievers closes due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, a message will be posted on our Facebook page, website and local radio stations. If schools should close due to weather during the school day there will be no bus pick-up for Early Achievers as we will also be closing, therefore, you will be responsible for picking up your child from school on those days. Generally, if schools close we will close too.
Please like our Facebook page to ensure you keep up to date with notifications.

*We do not issue credits for sick days, vacations or any unexpected closure due to weather.
