Children will take part in the well known Kindermusik program ABC Music and Me as well as our Drama class called Acting Out. A Mini Picasso Art program as well as our ABC's and 123's school readiness program. *Integrating the Arts into academics is a proven method for developing a love of learning in a young child and a smart start to a solid preparation for future success. 2010-2011 Class Times:
ABC'S and 123'S The ABC’S and 123’S program offers a fun, but structured environment where children learn while being guided by educators to develop the skills necessary for school success. In addition to social interactions and fine motor skills development each session focuses on a specific letter and numeral built around fun interactive themes. Children are introduced to and engaged in specific educational activities with corresponding learning outcomes which will ensure that each child develops to his or her fullest in a fun enjoyable way.
Kindermusik We'll laugh, play, sing, dance, explore, share and learn our way through Kindermusik class. Kindermusik is one of the world's leading music and movement classes for children. Its teaching philosophy is based on 30 years of research and experience in the field of childhood development. Every song and story has a carefully chosen purpose in this creative curriculum. A Kindermusik educator will guide you every step of the way so you know how each activity contributes to your child's overall growth and development. Acting Out Searching for buried treasure, tip toeing through the tulips or visiting the Land of the Fairies is just part of the Acting Out Drama Classes. Drama in a child's life gives them opportunity to use their imagination to act and explore in a fun way. Through individual and group activities, early parcipitation in Drama develops confidence, self expression and language skills. Drama also enhances early social skills and creative learning. Our Acting Out classes serve as a wonderful introduction to acting and a life long enjoyment of creative arts.

That's just a small portion of our exciting Mini Picasso program. Take out your artist palette, brushes and paint for a fun creative year. Inspire your child's imagination and self - expression with an exciting world of art. From painting, drawing, collage and special techniques children learn the Fundamentals of art - color, line, shape, form and texture. Children also learn to recognize patterns, primary colors and more. They are introduced to famous art pieces and works of art which influence many of their weekly activities.
