Hi, my name is Gillian Martin. I graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Music Education. In addition, I have completed my entry level ECE, Musikgarten certification and Let’s Play Today training. I have 25 plus years teaching experience, I am currently a private flute, piano and ukulele teacher and have been a substitute teacher with the NLESD. I began my journey at Early Achievers in 2014 as the school music teacher and am happy to be returning in September to resume the role of music teacher. As well as teaching, I have been a member of many musical groups in St. John’s and enjoy playing at weddings and other special events. I am a mother of 2 beautiful boys, so when I am not teaching I am spending my time with them. They have made my love for children even stronger. I am so excited for a new school year full of music and new programs with the children of Early Achievers!
