Bonjour! My name is Gopika, or Ms Pika like the little ones like to call me! My journey with the Early Achiever’s family started this summer and I look forward to more happy days amongst awesome coworkers and cute little learners. I have recently completed my Trainee level certification through AECENL.
As a teacher, I walk into my classroom every single day with the aim of learning and unlearning everything that surrounds a child’s development and teaching. I have been part of the teaching community for the last 6 years as a Teaching Assistant in France and as a French Teacher in India. As a teacher and person with ADHD, my future goal is to step into the world of Special Education. I strongly believe in an education system that caters to and considers children of all needs and capabilities. When I am not at EA, I work as a Reading Tutor at the Learning Disabilities Association of NL and teach French as a hobby too. During my free time, I love being with my friends and family, or you’ll find me curled up in my couch with loads of chicken nuggets and a book!
